What we do with your data
It's short because we ask for little: your email and the link to an article.
Who is responsible
We Are FLOC S.L. (FLOC*), tax ID B67978403, registered at C/ Sargento Vaillo 18, 3º, 03004 Alicante (Spain). You can write to us at hi@wearefloc.com about anything to do with your data.
What data we collect
- Your email address.
- The link to the article you want to hear.
- The date you signed up, the approximate country you signed up from, the language of the page you used and, if you came from a campaign, where from.
- If you want, the link to your X or LinkedIn profile. It's optional: you can sign up without it.
We don't use tracking cookies and we don't share your data with advertisers. We only set one cookie, lang, to remember the language you chose.
What we use it for
- To record the cassette of the article you ask for and let you know when it's ready.
- To write to you about the Caset beta and its launch.
- To understand, in aggregate, which kinds of articles people want.
- If you leave your profile, to decide who we invite to the beta first. We only look at your public profile for that.
Legal basis
Your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it whenever you like.
How long we keep it
For as long as the waitlist and the beta last, or until you ask us to delete it.
Who else processes it
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which stores the waitlist database. To record cassettes we process the article's public text, not your data.
Security
We apply the technical and organisational measures needed to protect your data against loss, alteration or unauthorised access. Only the people at FLOC* who manage the waitlist can access it.
The data you give us
By signing up you confirm that you are at least 14 years old and that the email is yours. If it changes, let us know.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, or ask for a portable copy by writing to hi@wearefloc.com. If you think we're not handling it properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
